No. This is before any consideration of fonts. His Qt is claiming
that iso-8869-15 cannot encode oe.

Thank you for your help. The problem certainly comes from my Qt installation. I did not use Qt before. I have ran qtconfig but it seems it is not sufficient to make Qt know the keyboard of my machine.
