Hi guys, hopefully some of you will know a bit more about font issues than I
do (which is null) .

I just compiled lyx with qt support: amazing! .... until I found that I
couldn't see properly the math fonts. Why? Well, that's the question that I
made myself.

At last, I discovered that if I disabled the antialiasing support in qt
(through qtconfig) I could see those fonts in kcharselect. If I reenable back
the antialasing, the fonts are replaced by some fallback font.

I think the issue might be related to the XFree version that I'm using at the
moment (which I have upgraded to XFree4.3, 4.2.99 or whatever it's called. I
know... I know... but it's pretty stable). As far as I know this version has
replaced the XftConfig file for another file at /etc/fonts/fonts.conf file
with different format. Could this be the problem?

Any help would be really appreciated.

        Unai
