Disappointment with some strange errors

Hi,

I am using lyx to write almost all my works, but I have a very big 
disappointment yesterday when we wanted to prepare the final manuscript 
for a conference. (IEEETran class)

First problem, I needed to submit the paper without page numbers.  I 
choose en layout->document page style empty.  All the page numbers where 
removed except in the first page where the number never disappeared.

Second problem, all the figures and tables appeared at the bottom with 
an annoying label figure or table and I didn't find a way to remove them.

Third problem, to write the paper I had all in a tex file, I tried to 
import it to lyx and I had to  re-write all tables and figures because 
they were all  damage and giving me errors and also some citations were 
translated wrong.

So finally to  correct all the problems I had to export the file to 
latex and corrected there, and then I was able to get rid of the numbers 
and the this annoying figure and table labels.
