Hello,

Can someone please explain to me how to make customized lists in lyx? I’ve read some about it via the lyx.org – tips section, but I don’t get much wiser of that. What I need is something that has as big an indent as the “description” list, but lines out the lines after the first line as the “list” list.

Also, when I have a numbered list, like 1, 2, 3, and one level deeper a), b), c), and underneath that some text and then another list, but this time only one level deep, I would like this one level list to jump in as much as the text after the numbered list.

I’ve attached an example file of what I need. If that doesn’t work, I’ve also uploaded it here: http://members.ams.chello.nl/daanj/images/tmp/example.jpg

In the example file, I also have a picture next to the text. The Floatflt in Lyx (as described in the “extended features” manual) doesn’t give me the result I need, and inserting it in a minipage in a 2 column table leaves out the indent of a new paragraph. Is there any other solution?

Thanks,

James
