I just searched back to find that I can use ERT like this:
\rule[-1.5ex]{0pt}{4ex}
in table cells to get some vertical space, above and below my stuff. In particular, when I place equations with fractional expressions (I like those) into table cells, they are too close to the top and bottom cell borders.
Having to put this ERT in each cell is a bit clumsy. Any likelyhood that the table controls will include more detailed vertical spacing settings in the future?
