Hello List,

the X-Windows-System knows about the "useless" window-keys, and they are
defined several times and I'm confused.

There's the keycode for the console (it's 125-127 for left Win-key,
right Win-key and menu-key)

There's the keycode for X (very different from the first)

And then the Window-keys are called "Super_L", "Super_R" and "Menu". In
the same column there's "Control_L", "Shift_R", and all these
"modifiers". (this table appears by typing "xmodmap" in a shell).

Now I think that there must be some table that tells LyX that

C means control

M means meta

and so on, because the shortcuts are defined with "C" and "M" - not with
"control" and "meta" and I've searched, but didn't find it. In this
ominous table has to be the answer to my question. You know: it's out
there - somewhere ;o)

                                                    -Kai-
