Does anybody know how to convert Word Docs to Lyx?
If it's a short document, just save it as text and re-format it in LyX. From experience, that would be faster than trying to fix the markup. I tried one of the conversion programs once (can't remember which) & wasn't impressed, but things may well have improved since then....
