Well, it would be nice if just editing the daughter document to still 
be able to add/see citations. To do this I think we would need to 
extend the bibtex inset so that it respects a
        bool do_not_export_if_daughter_doc;
flag or some such.

My problem, as always, is in defining the User Interface. Is a check 
button in the dialog:

        o Generate references if daughter document

understandable? How could we do better?
