This kind of 'threat' won't help you much, neither will posting at the top with full quote below. If you are happy with SciWP, just use it. Note, however, that LyX and aspell are very loosely coupled. You can use one without the other. Most notably, you can run aspell on the plain .lyx file without running LyX, and you can do the same with the exported .tex. So if both work, but not the combo, you are still not stuck. Andre'
