So to create the lyx file I did the following. I copied entire directory
which has the document and thus created a duplicate in another location.
And it compiles BUT now the whole document after the dictum comes right
aligned!! The only difference with dictum is that the fonts are normal while
dictum is in different font type.
So I created the a small document and created a dictum in it. That also
compiled but angain the whole document becomes a dictum, meaning right
aligned. I am attaching that lyx document.
Can this be something to do with komascript mismatch with latex. Initally the
latex installation I had was having komascript whihc was not recognising the
environment dictum (This was defualt from Redhat 9). So I had downloaded
komascript and installed. Then the error which said 'dictum unknown' went
off. It is then that the present error started happening.
thanks, joby
