I have checked in etc/texmf and it tells As distributed, the size is 50000; most documents can be handled within a tenth of this size. (see excerpt at the end of my mail) accordingly I would assume it should be sufficient, and that something else is wrong The problem is, that I can't use dvi any more, since my attempts result in a corrupted dvi file. It is not possible to just renew (aktualisieren) the dvi file. Instead I have to close the lyx file and start anew. Same for export as ps. The problem might have to do with a .png figure?? Help would be much appreciated, since I can't use lyx reasonably at the moment because of this flaw Wolfgang % Buffer size.
