In the future, when we have a reliable tex2lyx (latex to lyx converter),
lyx could have some button that "merges" an ERT inset into the lyx normal
text, possibly splitting it in more ERTs if some parts are not
translatable. Then the user could paste latex code into the ERT inset,
then if he wants he could activate the translation. This would be very
useful and lyx would be clever only if required.
