Check Edit | Preferences | File formats (as opposed to Converters) and 
see if a viewer is filled in for DVI and PDF (pdflatex) formats.  If not, 
type in the appropriate file name (and if it has trouble finding the 
corresponding viewer, toss in the path as well).  Presumably your LaTeX 
installation has a DVI viewer (yap maybe?).  For pdflatex, the viewer is 
whatever program you use to display PDF files (GhostView, Acrobat reader, 
...).
