There are two parts to using bibliographic packages: the citation in the
text and the full reference in the list (usually) at the end of the
document. Every document I have read so far describes the different ways of
entering the citation but has nothing about the format of the reference
listing.

I have installed natbib and the citations are numeric within square
brackets, just as the publisher's example doc shows. However, the listings
in the References "chapter" have a different format from the example doc. So
far I have not seen anything that tells me how I can change the latter.

A pointer to the appropriate document would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich
