Some time ago, I was experimenting with LyX and found a hint about how to
change the whole GUI language, including the documentation, by adding two
lines to a deeply buried file including >fr< or >ru<, depending on what
language in which you wanted to see the interface.

I thought I had saved the advice page well indexed, but it seems I have lost
it.

I know that I can access the foreign documentation within LyX's package, but
it would be much better to have the original hint on hand. Somehow, it is
possible, by adding two short lines, somewhere, to flip LyX into a different
given language.

If anyone has used this trick and can advise me on a URL of simply remind me
which lines I have to add where, I would be very grateful.
