I installed the newest version of lyx1.3.3-win32 on my Win 98 SE computer. I use a
MiKTex installation and usually a TeXnicCenter editor which works fine. When I run
lyx, I get various error messages reading e.g.
Font T1/cmr/m/n/10=ecrm1000 at 10.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not fou
...ncoding\encodingdefault\selectfont
I wasn't able to read the size data for this font,
so I will ignore the font specification.
[Wizards can fix TFM files using TFtoPL/PLtoTF.]
You might try inserting a different font spec;
e.g., type `I\font<same font id>=<substitute font name>'.
I installed the additional fonts properly using the system tools and restarted the
machine.
What did I do wrong?
