I forgot to say that I also tried "ps" as the printer name. �It doesn't work either. �Also, there are no error messages in /var/spool/lpd/ps/errs or in /var/spool/lpd/lp/errs. �By the way, I'm using KDE under Debian. �I wonder if Lyx requires printing software that I don't have. �I use CUPS with KDE, but is there something else the Lyx requires? I have a feeling something must be missing from my installation... Peter
