I upgraded my LyX some time ago by installing a new RPM, rpm -q lyx
reports: lyx-1.3.3-1_qt. LyX worked ok before this, but ever since the
new rpm was installed I've been getting errors like these, which are
appearing in any new document I'm typesetting. Currently I'm writing
geneweb.lyx using Layout/Document/Book(AMS):
These 2 errors appeared before the title (GeneWeb Manual):
------------------------------------------------------------------------
LaTeX Error: Missing \begin{document}.
\usepachage{d
raftcopy}
You're in trouble here. Try typing <return> to proceed.
If that doesn't work, type X <return> to quit.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Undefined control sequence.
\usepachage
{draftcopy}
The control sequence at the end of the top line
of your error message was never \def'ed. If you have
misspelled it (e.g., `\hobx'), type `I' and the correct
spelling (e.g., `I\hbox'). Otherwise just continue,
and I'll forget about whatever was undefined.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
These 2 errors appeared before the author: (Russell W. Behne)

You might try inserting a different font spec;
e.g., type `I\font<same font id>=<substitute font name>'.

I have no idea what this is talking about and couldn't find anything in
the archives about it. Can anyone explain what's happening, and in
simple language, how to fix it?
I am using the following packages in the preamble:
\usepachage{draftcopy}
\usepackage{dropcaps}
If I set the title, author, and part to standard text then only the
first 2 errors concerning the draftcopy package remain.
