Would be super cool if someone could post a statically built Solaris 7 or 8 built binary tarball at ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.3.4/.
Building LyX dependencies and then LyX itself dynamically on Solaris has been unsuccessfull for me for soon 2 years now. Henrik
