I tried to compile the new version Lyx-1.3.4.
Find the configure file attached as lyx_config.gz
The GCC Compiler produces after short time of "make all" the following

Any hints to produce a version for SuSE 8.1? I gave up with this compiler error... Seems to me, I have to make a big upgrade of library and all other GCC stuff?
I prefer rpm to install. Did anybody ride the way for SuSE? Any hints else to obtain a binary Lyx-1.3.4 for my "old" system?
Thanks
M. Hartje
