A few things. First, run 'locate "*.sty" ' to find where all the other style files are located. Put a copy of prettyref.sty there, too.

Perhaps, Jean-Pierre's way is more convenient, as I can find several (and not an only one) directories with sty files. Anyway, many thanks!
