Incorrect rendering of symbols

For some symbols like '=' and "plus, minus", LyX for Win32 renders them 
incorrectly. This can be fixed by using different zoom values in the 
Edit>Prefs>On Screen Fonts menu. However, I cannot render '=' or "plus, 
minus" correctly at the same time. Its either or. Except for values that 
are multiples of 100. 100% is too small and 200% is too big.

Any other solutions?
