Though, I did not find > g-brief installed, so I had to get it from the net :-). As far as I can see g-brief (and others) are there, but maybe LyX doesn't find them. It allways reports "unbekannte Textklasse din-brief, ersetze mit Standardklasse" (unknown textclass din-brief, using standard instead) And yes, I did texhash and reconfigure lyx. Maybe I can set PATH in the shell environment but it does not get through to lyx (even if started from shell!)? Is there a way to find out which binaries and tempaltes lyx uses and to set that (besides recompiling, which I can not do because of some -aah unfortunate limitations in my system libraries setup, has to do with apt etc..)
