I have a problem with the lyxpipe. I want to get JabRef to communicate with lyx so that JabRef can insert bibliographical information into lyx-documents. After I read how to get the lyxserver pipe running (I'm not sure if I completely misunderstood that advice: insert a line into the file lyxrc.default like this: \lyxserver "/home/s.chicken/.lyxpipe") I inserted that line into lyxrc. But nothing happend. Lyx didn't create the files "lyxpipe.in" and "lyxpipe.out". So I get an error message in JabRef saying that either lyx is not working or the serverpipe isn't configured properly. Is there anything I can do to get the serverpipe runnig properly? I use LYX 1.3.4 on Suse 9.1 and JabRef 1.4 Thank you in advance!
