It might even be sufficient to do a File>Restore... BTW: File>Restore can also be used to update the current buffer after an external change to the file (some regexp replacement in Math, say). However, in my LyX 1.3.3 of Thu, Sep 25 2003 there are some annoyances: * File>Restore will only work if there are unsaved changes in the buffer. Of course I have saved the file before the external editing, so now I have to do a "dummy change" to get it working. * calling File>Restore brings up a "Save Changes" dialog.
