Did you save your poh.cls file in a place where TeX can find it (texmf tree)? Did you ran texhash?

I just had a poh.layout file, with lyx and latex commands in it. I tried it based on the book class first, and it worked, but I later discovered that the book (koma-script) class has some features that I wanted. So I want to base my poh.layout on book (koma-script).
But, I just found the scrbook.layout, which seems to be what I was looking for. I've got a lot more info to wade through, then I'll probably be back with many more questions.
