Hi,
I'm trying to get fancyhdr to work with a hebrew document. The footer I'm looking for looks like this:

After a lot of googling and searching the list archives I managed to get hebrew to display properly, except for one problem, that I've even encounterd on the archives, but was not answered as far as I could tell. The problem is: In my 3-page document, after the 1st page, the 2nd and 3rd pages shows the header on the wrong side - right instead of left.
This is what I put in the preamble:

\renewcommand{\footrulewidth}{0.4pt}
\fancyfoot{}
\fancyhead[C]{\thepage}
\fancyfoot[L]{\selectlanguage{english}\inputencoding{ascii}my_id_here\selectlanguage{hebrew}\inputencoding{cp1255}יוסף

}The document is two sided, article(Hebrew) class. The first page has
\thispagestyle{fancy} to give it the same headers, but it seems to be
the only correct page.Thanks for your input on this.
PS - one other problem is that I can't find a command to automatically incorporate today's date in the footer. Any good one? Thanks.
