I have a tex file I want to import.
I am using LyX version 1.3.4 (from pkgsrc lyx-qt-1.3.4nb3) under NetBSD.
I have imported latex before into lyx. I had used some nroff-to-latex
converter and then imported into lyx. But I can't recall how.
I found some instructions on internet saying to use "File->Import" but I
don't see LaTeX or tex as import options. It just has "Ascii Text as
Lines" and "Paragraphs". That didn't work when I tried (as I expected).
The "Insert->Insert File" adds "LyX" as a type to insert but still no
latex.
My reLyX manpage says: "The simplest way to use reLyX is via the
File->Import command in LyX. (This option is available starting with
version 1.0.0.)".
I didn't find a FAQ entry or other documentation about this.
I tried running reLyx, but it failed:
rainier:~/book/ipfilter$ reLyX ipf-howto.tex
reLyX directory is: /usr/pkg/share/lyx/reLyX

Any suggestions on how to import some tex files?
