I think that you're looking for the latex package "nicefrac.sty". See http://www-h.eng.cam.ac.uk/help/tpl/textprocessing/teTeX/latex/units/units.dvi It may well be that there is a more modern package that has superceeded this one. The Latex experts will know. -- Angus
