I'm not sure as I'm not fully familiar with those terms yet, or whath the difference between them is. This is how I've inserted the images: I position the cursor where I want the picture, click on the image icon in LyX's toolbar, hit Browse, and simply select the *.fig file. Some converter is run in the background and after a second or two the image shows up in the document. > I suspect that you are using the Graphics inset, > because the > external_templates file shipped with LyX 1.3.x does > not handle > pdflatex conversion at all. Yes, unlike the external_templates files I've seen on the Net, the one that comes with this version does not mention any conversions to PDF. Can I just use an external_templates file from the Net, or are these most likely for some devel version of LyX, and unlikely to work in my case? Would this one work with my version? http://wiki.lyx.org/pmwiki.php/DevelExternalTemplates/Template _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
