this is a bug inside LyX, it shouldn't allow that a longtable can be rotated.

insert in ERT \begin{landscape}, then insert as usual the longtable, but not inside a float. For the caption search into the archives, I posted an example some weeks ago. After the longtable write laso in ERT \enbd{landscape}
In the preamble input \usepackage{lscape}4- Is it possible to rotate a float figure (figure and caption) ?
