Thanks J�rgen,

As long as:

1. I can recognize each style looks different from the others in the LyX 
program, and
2. The style renders correctly in the outputted postscript

As long as the preceding 2 things are true, I'm quite happy. Before, I was 
using Dekl's color workaround, in which the only in-LyX evidence of the style 
was a different color. So I'm accustomed to in-LyX styles not looking like 
they will on paper.
