lyx/mac installation questions.

hello...
i just installed the lyx/mac binaries.
lyx itself works fine, but i can't get the preview working.  (dvi, pdf, 
ps...)  none works.

i did a default installation.  (defalut install path)
my lyx installation sits at /Application/lyx
