Inserting Photoshop EPS Files

If I scan a line drawing into Photoshop, save it in eps format, and 
insert it into a LyX document, should I expect any difficulties? I have 
a hazy memory of reading somewhere that Photoshop's eps files contain 
"extra stuff" which causes problems for LyX.
