I have a main index heading of "Ecology" and a sub-heading of
"Ecology!Washington Department of". Both show up in the index produced by
mkindex.
Now, I want to produce a 'see' reference for the abbreviation, but I don't
have the syntax correct; it does not appear in the index. This is what I've
entered in the Insert->Index_entry dialog box:
DOE|see{Ecology!Washington Department of}
should I enter it as:
DOE|see{Ecology, Washington Department of}
? That seems reasonable to me, but I've not before referenced a sub-heading
with a 'see' reference.
