I wrote this layout file just to get memoir into LyX, but actually I never used memoir myself (I prefer koma). So if someone who uses memoir regularly wants to improve the layout file, he/she is certainly very welcome (that is: welcome to take maintainership for this file ;-). Especially, it could be worth checking if the memoir support could benefit from the character style feature in LyX 1.4 Regards, J�rgen
