Hello LyXers,

if you are using LyX under Windows, you might have problems with LyX's math fonts. E.g. the equal sign is not visible with all zooming factors or Integral signs are placed too high.

These problems can be solved with the new font-package "BaKoMa4LyX" that can be downloaded from:

http://www.semverteilung.vwl.uni-muenchen.de/links/BaKoMa4LyX.zip

NOTE: These fonts are created by Basil Malyshev. He gave his permission to use the fonts with LyX but only for non-commercial use, see the readme file in the package. But as LyXWin 1.3.5-nc is also only for non-commercial use, this shouldn't cause any troubles.

To install:

- open Windows file explorer and change to the folder \WINNT\fonts
- deinstall the existing LyX-fonts cmr10, cmmi10, cmsy10, cmex10,
msam10, and msbm10 by deleting them
- install the new fonts with the explorer menu File -> Install new Fonts

regards Uwe
