I have the same problem also. I import the latex file but it says lyx2lyx is 
not recognized as a command and not operable. My path has included the path 
to the python.exe that comes with lyx. Can someone please help and point me 
in the right direction. Thanks.

At least I don't know of any other way to make it work. But given that 
it's "supposed to work" according to Ruurd's page, I may simply have
