Sure. When you say "Latex has no problem with the file", do you mean your document file or do you mean 1lyxpreview.tex? They're not the same thing. Have you tried running latex on 1lyxpreview.tex by hand? My guess is that latex will fail because preview.sty is not installed... Of course, that's just a guess. -- Angus
