There is an extra blank as if it tried to put the figure twice.
I tested your LyX-file and wasn't able to compile it, because the image size doesn't fit the float size. As the floatflt can't have the size "Scale%" you shouldn't use this size for images inside this float type.
Mea culpa. However, I was able to compile my LyX-file.
I used now "col%" for both (right click on ht efloat box to change the float size) and get no problems. I attached the resulting pdf and LyX-file. I hope this output is what you wanted.
Well, yes, that is what I tried to show. On the pdf file you sent me, the second paragraph ("Hope this is clear....") is effectively indented.
