Subject: Tip for viewing pdf-files
Hi list I found this very useful
The standard viewer for pdf files is acrobat but, there seem to be no way
of making it update the view automatically. Here is a way of viewing
pdf-files using xpdf. Put this as your viewer for pdf (instead of acroread)
xpdf -remote $$i $$p$$i
It features: * if the file is not already open it will start a new window * if there is a window with the file open it will reload it.
So there is no need to distinguish the view and update procedure. /johan
