include update??

Sometimes when i alter the contents of a file that is included in the 
master file the master doesnt seem to update.

IE if i then generate a dvi or pdf, the changes havent been incorporated.
The solution that works is to shut lyx and relaunch it.
Is this a known bug???
Am I missing something obvious?
