You could run from the command line as: $ lyx -dbg graphics 2> lyx.log Question: are you using the temp dir to convert your images (Edit->Preferences dialog, Paths tab. I'd hope to see a line: [X] Use temporary directory [/tmp ] [Browse] -- Angus
