Which actually made me to run out of it -- it sucks!!! The most important of
all BibTeX/MODS qualities is that you have only bibliographic database for
all your needs, even for your future needs (well maintained bibliographic
database could be translated into any future data format -- MODS?).
Anything else sucks!

Just for both sides of the story, there is an ongoing effort to create a
really good (MODS-based) Java bibliographic manager for OOo, which (if
actually created) could make me think about switching to OOo after all
these years.
