As a temporary measure, maybe you could add this information to the wiki,
e.g. on this page

        http://wiki.lyx.org/FAQ/ERT

or possibly create a page with this name

        http://wiki.lyx.org/Tips/ERT

If you decide on the latter, please also add the following line to the 
page http://wiki.lyx.org/Tips/PageList

        T* Tips/{{ERT}}

so that the new page shows up in the list of pages.
