I missed the earlier part of this thread, but the suggestion sound useful.. perhaps you could make a separate bugzilla entry for it? AFAIK, it's not really a problem if you do happen to add a bugzilla entry that's similar to one that already exists - it'll eventually just get marked as a duplicate of that other entry.
