foiltex.sty and foiltex.cls

I found two different tarballs for foiltex. I tried each one, unpacking 
them in /usr/local/share/texmf/tex/latex and then doing texhash. I 
reconfigure in LyX and then restart LyX but it never sees foiltex. When 
looking at the foiltex folder, there are only three files: foiltex.dtx, 
foiltex.ins, and readme.flt. Where are foiltex.cls and foiltex.sty? I'm 
running version 1.35 of lyx. Foiltex used to be included. What am I  
doing wrong?
