I originally reported this difficuly with the "case" environment but have since noticed the problem with lots of other environments, including Lemma, Definition, etc. Essentially the problem is that Lyx wont let me create adjacent Lemmas (without proofs), or adjacent Definitions, without some intervening (Standard) text. In the absence of any such text it merges the two adjacent entities into one. Does anyone have a workaround for this?
