Subject: LyX -> MS Word

Is there any way to convert the LyX document into the MS word file? The document contains the set of EPS emages.

A lyx to pdf conversion will probably look better and take less work.
It is just as easy to read pdf as doc for an enduser. To make comments
on such a file can be done with scriptus or flpsed if you are using Linux
or Windows with Cygwin. However, these nor Kword have been ported
natively to Windows which will require using those newly released Qt
libraries. So if you need someone to read and make comments then the
cheapest Windows method is PDFill, $10 shareware. Another idea:

"Why don't you use Adobe Reader on Windows for PDFs that have
form fields? If there are no form fields, how about converting the PDF
to an image using pdftoppm (part of xpdf, also available for Win32)
http://www.foolabs.com/xpdf/
and then use Paintbrush (or another image editor) to add the text in a
Courier-like font? It's not elegant, but it works fine.
[SH: This might be to much work for somebody else making comments.]
BTW: a vector image editor would be prefered over a raster image editor
here, because you can easily save the file and re-edit later.
http://www.pdfill.com/information.html $9.99

SH: Even if you export and have comments included in Word, you may still probably want to import them back to Lyx which will not be automatic.

Stephen
