Another thing are urls within a \thanks. I tried to include my email as
a url, but all I've got were a bundle of Latex errors. After examining
my thick and quite expensive ;-) TLC2e, I figured out the trick:
Preamble:
\usepackage{url}
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
ERT in text:
\thanks{bla bla bla \myemail{}}
